Why the P2P Foundation is paying its salaries in... →
bitcoinnews: The founder of the nonprofit P2P Foundation, Michael Bauwens (@MBauwens), wrote a blog post describing the move to begin paying salaries for staff using Bitcoins.  Excerpts: “Value storage through Bitcoin has profound political implications […].  The whole world’s ‘formal’ economy is backed by debt, and debt is backed by violence. I don't want to go either, Doctor.
He perfectly captures my feelings on the subject. You went out with a bang, good sir.

purepopfornowpeople said: Yeah, Torchwood is fun. I like it more than Doctor Who in some ways. It feels like the stakes are a bit higher, there’s more of a sense of danger. I like high stakes. I am guessing they build a bigger picture, instead of the mostly ‘adventure of the week’ feel of Doctor Who?

Digital Natives Are Slow to Pick Up Nonverbal Cues →
John K. Mullen, hbr.org If you’re a digital native, you should be aware that the internet may have partially rewired your brain in such a way that when you meet people face to face, you’re less capable of figuring out what they’re thinking. No, I’m not joking. There’s …
